Student Groups

Student groups are comprised of a group of people with similar interests or goals. Starting a student group or participating in one that has already been created is a great way to meet people, get involved in campus life, and make a difference in the lives of other students.

Any group of students who are members of ACADSA may form an official student group so long as it complies with the Students’ Association Bylaws and Policies + Procedures. Gaining official status has its benefits:

• the right to make an application to ACADSA for an operating grant
• the right to make an application to ACADSA for a project grant
• publicity on the Students’ association website and ability to mass email
• the right to use the bar or other association resources for fundraising purposes

For more information on student groups, please download a copy of the Student Group Application Form, and the Student Group Funding Request Form.
